Music Time

When I was a little girl I remember trying to put my Dad's 8-track of Neil Diamond Greatest Hits into the stereo for dancing.
On my 10th birthday my parents gave me a record player. Duran Duran was my heart throb at the time so I played the "Hungry Like a Wolf" RECORD.
It wasn't even until college that I bought myself my first cd player. So you can imagine my shock when Ava asked for an ipod on her 6th birthday. I didn't buy her an actual ipod (I just got an ipod shuffle a year ago for my birthday) but gave her a MP3 player my Mom won at a seminar. It holds about 30 songs....just enough for a 6 year old.
I loaded some new songs for Ava this weekend after a good friend of mine gave me a cd of kids songs (Thanks Amy). So Ava had a renewed interest in her "ipod". She decided to get Lillian in on the music. I found the two hanging out on Ava's bed getting their groove on listening to Michael Buble-Sting-Coldplay-and of course The Imagination Movers.
I wonder what Lillian will be asking for on her 6th birthday....time travel machine?
