Every weekday Paul walks the girls to the bus stop then returns home for some quality time with Sports Center and the Babies (not necessarily in that order). After about an hour.....it's time to go to work. I can say with certainty at this point Wyatt starts to cling to Paul like he's saying..."Don't leave me! Please take me with you! I love you! I love you! I love You!" There's always a short period of crying after the seperation.
As a mother I can't seem to make Wyatt smile like his Dad can. I can't make him laugh like his Dad can. I'm not by any means upset about this. In fact, I think it's awesome!
After a long day at the office (ie: the river), Paul returns home to a little boy who's waited all day to see him. When Dad is around Wyatt's smile appears, a spring in his step added and a calm surrounds him.
What ever happened to the term Mamma's Boy?
Well, not my boy; not yet. Wyatt is clearly Daddy's little boy.
