It's been several days since my last entry. I've been a little....occupied. The 24 hour stomach bug hit me and my children, consecutively every 12 hours.
Paul was out of town so I was on my own.
We've all recovered 90% but the household chores have multiplied by 4. Especially, the Laundry.
A lesson on Laundry that keeps repeating itself is:
It doesn't stop when you do.
I usually have on average 2 loads a day. This includes the average pj's, undergarments, workout clothes, socks, and daily outfit x 6. But this week with an urgent need to wash every towel, sheet, pillow case, bib in this house because of "sickness" the tally came to 14. That's right, between last night and today I have managed to do 14 loads of Laundry.
So not only does illness take everything out of you physically, it just keeps kicking you down for another 2-3 days.
I'm purposely NOT posting pictures of my mountain of laundry for fear you may think of me differently.
I've got nothing on the Duggers, but I don't ever want to do this much laundry at one time again!
Ha! Think of you differently...that's funny! ;) Hang in there...
