Yesterday, Ava asked me to help her hang up a new picture on her "picture clothesline". I was confused at first glance, not seeing a picture at all. I focused in closer and saw what looked like a chart with different faces in each box. I asked Ava what the picture was and she said it was her feelings chart. She makes a mark in the appropriate box when she's feeling particularly strong about an event or action: happy, sad, surprised, and anger. What a clever girl!
I wish I would've thought of this journaling style years ago. It would've saved me a lot of journal paper and bad pens.
